The graffiti

Introduction :

The graffiti inscriptions or paintings on walls, located monuments or objects on the public space. There are many characters and styles of graffiti, this rapidly evolving art form. Many artists are famous for their graffiti such as Jean Michel basquiat which is a graffiti artist best known.

Partie 2 :

Jean Michel Basquiat was born on 22nd december 1960 and he died on 12th August 1988. He’s one of the pioneers of contemporary art by the size and abundance of his work. Graffiti in striking and original style and virtuoso painter capable of carrying a spontaneous message childish and both terribly seriously, his work points to a very particular nervousness and violence, very representative characteristics of the character he was. Basquiat was an avant-garde artist who knew how to shoot small talk in favor of art. Look at one of the pillars of art and his contribution already recognized in history

Partie 3 :

In his works Basquiat defend the identity of the black, critical people the consumer society and denounces the social injustice, as in " the Mona Lisa " painted in 1983. Basquiat paints Mona Lisa as a bank-bill. He raises the problem of the market value of the work of art. The oeuvres of art which so become symbol of the money.

Conclusion :

I find her rather unique works, this is not my style but what I like is the story behind this painting. His paintings are rather crudely made but mean a lot.
