HOW BANKSY COULD DESTROY HIS ART THE GIRL WITH BALOON ?

Banksy has revealed how he secretly built a shredder into a painting so that it self-destructs moments after being sold for over £ 1million. His unique way of ridiculing government, corporations, and society has stirred up a lot of controversies and intrigues and practically divided his audience into lovers and haters.

Banksy posted a video on Twitter. The artist reveals that, several years earlier, he concealed a shredder in the frame of the painting. A connected alarm was programmed to activate in the event of an auction of the work. In fact, the painting had previously been purchased directly from the artist by its previous purchaser.

It is also intriguing that this work was the last to be sold that evening, when other even more iconic paintings were on offer before. All of these clues may suggest that Banksy integrated the shredder into its frame just before the auction, and that Sotheby's was well aware.
