Albert Einstein was a German physicist and mathematician, born on March the 14th 1879 in Ulm. He died on April the 18th 1995 in Princeton, at the age of 76 He’s considered one of the most influential scientists of the 20th century. He was a genius and had an IQ of 160 .

He was raised with his sister Maria in a poor and Jewish family by his parents Herman (an engineer and salesman) and Pauline . He was a shy and quiet child who spent much of his time alone, he was slow to talk and had difficulty reading and learning. But he was brilliant at maths and physics.

Six weeks after his birth the family moved to Munich, where he later began his studies at the Luitpold Gymnasium but he was expelled at the age of 15 . He joined his parents in Pavia, in Italy, in 1895 and renounced his German nationality. He settled in Switzerland and then, after Hitler's rise to power, the United States.

Many of his ideas changed the world, Albert Einstein made a lot of discoveries and many of them were true. His most famous was finding the formula for energy which is E=mc² , E means energy, M means mass, and C means the speed of light. He also made the theories on relativity for a new branch of physics, it’s when space and time are linked. But he also discover(e)d the atomic bomb for America during the Second World War, and the photoelectric effect. It’s a phenomenon in which electrically charged particles are released from or within a material when it absorbs electromagnetic radiation.
