Thank you all for being present today to take decisive measures on climate change. I am thankful that at last all the countries in the world are assembled here. This means the world is united to fight climate change, to save the planet and to ensure the best future for our children.

Today, the consequences of our past choices are disastrous: numerous cities have been swallowed by seas, glaciers are melting at an unprecedented rate, lots of ecosystems are being destroyed, animals are disappearing, the great shield of our mother Earth is vanishing. Do you want future generations to look back on us thinking we had the power to stop the downfall but didn't do anything and all of that for the money fossil fuels industries brought us? What will we do with our fortune when the world will fall?

Today people all over the world are emigrating, seeking a haven in other countries, but what will happen when the whole world will need a haven?

I ask you today to show businesses that the economy of the future is grounded in low carbon emissions. We can focus our best engineers and scientists on developing renewable energy technologies. Eventually, the global economy will no longer depend on fossil fuels. Let's raise people from poverty without condemning future generations to a gutted world that can no longer provide them with what they essentially need.

We may never see the result of our efforts in our life. We want to make a durable effort to built a brighter future, a future of global cooperation and peace. No more war for petrol, no more killing the Earth, no more pressure by lobbies and companies. We can take action right now because we represent the entire power of our Planet. Together let's make the world a better place.

Thank you.
