Hello everyone, today I'm going to tell you about the situation in the United States because of Covid 19. First we will see what covid is, then we will see what consequences it has had on the United States and finally we will see how the United States is dealing with this problem.

Covid:

COVID-19 is an infectious disease caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus.

The majority of people with COVID-19 will experience only mild to moderate symptoms and will recover without special treatment. However, some will become seriously ill and require medical attention. The virus can be spread when small liquid particles are expelled through the mouth or nose when an infected person coughs, sneezes, sings or breathes. The covid has received several mutations over the years which makes it more and more dangerous

Consequences:

Several consequences have occurred in the United States because of the virus, such as numerous crises, such as economic crises, but also numerous restrictions that make the lives of Americans more tiring. For example, more than 7,000 flights were cancelled for Christmas due to the Omicron variant in the US, forcing people to celebrate in a cautious way, especially as the US is one of the most populated countries, which does not make things any easier. More than 100,000 cases of covid are recorded per day in the United States. Moreover, a lot of fake news, on twitter for example, creates mistrust towards the government. The creation of the vaccine has divided the population because opinions are different.

How dealing the probleme:

Despite all these circumstances, the United States is trying to manage the health crisis with frequent research to combat the virus. A lot of money is being spent on this. The closing of the borders helps to restrict the spread of the virus as the American borders are very large.  The fact that America is one of the first countries to vaccinate its population makes the country advanced in its management of the covid. America is becoming increasingly strict on health regulations to allow the population to realise the seriousness of covid.
