Since 1999, Coachella keep attraying loads of people and many celebrities. Would you be part of the show ?

Why is this festival wordly famous ?

It was created in 1999 by Paul Tollet and Rick Van Santen who both are part of « Golden Voice ». Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival named Coachella Festival occurs on the last two week-end of april during 3 or 4 days every years. It is situated in the coachella's valley in the municipality of Indio, in the desertic area of California.

This festival was crowned best festival in the world. There are more than 200 000 participants, and some celebrities are present as Nina Dobrev, Selena Gomez, The Weeknd and even more. You have to pay between 400 and 500$ for 3 days and 900$ if you want the VIP pass. You can find the schedule of the festival on the Coachella website. Coachella permits to worldwide artists to per- orm but there are also many surprises : singers who were not supposed to come make surprises to their fan ; they turn up unexpectedly. It's also a place to express a kind of « hippie » style. Everyone wears suede, jeans, fringes, laces, extravagant sunglasses, girls style their hair with braids and body jewelry. The style is very important, their is a kind of rivalry between the participants and famous brands are taking advantage of the event to make themselves known and present their creations.

As we said through this article, the trendy phenomenon of Coachella endures and keeps attrying attention, but for how long ? Would Coachella become as famous as Woodstock festival ? We hope it for both of the creators of this festival who put so much energy and determination to achieve this success.
