Denazification : Process managed by the allies at the end of the Second World War to eradicate the Nazism. The allies want to judge the crimes  and the atrocities of the 1943. At the end of the conference of Postdam in between  July 17th  August 2nd, 1945 .engagement of the dissolution of all the Nazi institutions. Every power is going to threaten its own politics of denazification, the discovery of camps renforce the will of the allies. They had to restart Germany but, elites of the country (media, judges and state employees)

The Nuremberg trial is the most symbolic demonstration(appearance) of the denazification - the idea of an international justice had developed in the time of LEAGUE OF NATIONS, but had not uncorked(resulted). He(it) lasts from November, 1945 till September, 19 46. 22 Nazi persons in charge have to answer four counts of indictment: plot to dominate Europe, crime against peace, war crimes and crimes against humanity (the latter representing a legal novelty elaborated by the Allies during agreements of London, on August 8th, 1945). 

All the Nazi leaders(managers) are not judged, naturally: Hitler, Himmler and Goebbels committed suicide; Goering also commits suicide in prison the day before its trial.
Others all ran away and will not be found. 22 Nazi leaders

 are judged.
All in all, the court pronounces 12 death sentences, 7 to the prison and 3 acquittals(payments).

On the model of this trial, the Americans, military tribunals organize in the months which follow twelve other trials question of which it was higher, intended to judge members of the Gestapo, of SS, doctors, industrialists, servicemen.
