Nowadays, the wars that took place a long time ago are still commemorated. But what is the use of remembering these sad events?

Celebrate.

First, honoring the memory of the unknown soldier, laying flowers in front of memorials, is a way to pay tribute to those who have suffered and died for their country and for present and future generations. A few years ago, at the first commemorations, many people had a son, a brother, who had died and whose memory was to be celebrated. In the course of time, there are few people we know who took part in the war, but it is a way for us to remember what they have done, those who have been "used" as war machines, of those who behaved like heroes for their country.

Learn from the past.

Second, it aims to avoid making the same mistakes in the future. It reminds us of everything that happens when negotiations fail, and the importance of life and peace. It is important to learn from the past and be aware of the chance that we live in "peacetime" for much of the world.

Value and vision.

Third, it also reminds us of our sad past and our history. Some World Wars benchmarks have changed our values and our worldview, so it is important to remember, although some people still have difficulty knowing what is being commemorated and also when.
