Since the industrial revolution, many technologies have appeared in our lives. Phones, computers, GPS, tablets and televisions are developing over time. We are going to ask ourselves what are the positive and negative points of the progress made over the years.

Progress has literally changed our lives in many different areas. A great evolution has happened, especially to the Apple brand created by Steve Jobs in 1973 where he reinvented an innovative marketing approach focused on the aesthetics and quality of its products appreciated by its consumers. This technological progress that we find in the computer and telephone field has allowed a huge development in medicine and robotics. The document 1 " the Materializer ", by Kurosaka, plunges us into a distant future with the possibility of making appear thanks to a machine what we say to it. In this text he manages to make a beer appear. Robots have taken a great importance in our world whether it is for fires, car manufacturing, computers or medicine.

In spite of the many positive aspects of innovation and technical progress, they have made great inroads. First of all the social networks that affect teenagers in particular. Millions are affected by moral or physical harassment, paedophilia and even identity theft. Second, these new technologies use natural resources. Natural resources are not unlimited and new technologies are therefore causing environmental damage. Moreover, if we take the example of Apple, production is carried out in China, where production costs are cheaper and defy all competition. This pronounces the exploitation of employees.

To conclude, the study of this concept allows us to open our eyes on the dark sides of new technologies despite their great usefulness in terms of health, comfort, economy and knowledge for humans but destroyed many things on their way as nature because of the consumption of natural resources and lives especially because of social networks.
