Presentation of Adidas

In 1920 Adolf Dassier he founds a small company that specializes in the manufacture of sports shoes but the firm adidas it was in 1924 that the company really entered the market.

The group is of German origin and sells its products worldwide. The head office is located in Herzogenaurach.

Company with a strong brand image since 1924

And a leader in the sale of shoes and sportswear. it is a

company with numerous subsidiaries around the world.

it is a company that sponsors many sporting events such as the Olympic Games and their products are very diversified

And finally it is a group that employs nearly 45,000 people around the world.

Opportunities for the Adidas Group :

A company that produces nearly 60 new products every year.

Brand awareness that is built through sports academies.

A group that can afford to offer highly innovative cuts and designs

Threats to the Adidas Group :

Other groups produce cheaper equipment and accessories.

Imitations affect the Adidas brand image.

Strong competition in the sports equipment market

Since its creation adidas has known 3 different logos, in 1967 there were the three stripes, in 1971 the clover and in 1997 the three bars.

The brand's competitors are :

Nike

Fila

Puma

But Nike is still Adidas' main competitor.

Adidas has a project to support sustainable development Called Futurecraft loop, the German firm plans to bring out 100% recyclable sneakers from the sole to the upper through the laces. "The goal is above all to assemble the shoe without conventional glue because this is what contaminates the materials in the shoes the most".

To finish i chose adidas because i like to wear this brand too much and their products are super confortable.
