How is celebrated Thanksgiving in the United States?

Thanksgiving is a holiday celebrated in the United States. More than a tradition, it is the opportunity for the families to meet. As it is the family holiday the most important for the United States. The Americans do not hesitate to cross all the country to join their family and to celebrate the event together. In general, during this day we’re giving thanks for the happiness that we’re able to get in the year.

For prepare Thanksgiving, the Americans decorate their house with turkeys paper, paper garland…  It are the opportunity to play in the American football or broadcast what’s on this in the afternoon at the cinema and to look at the parade from Thanksgiving is TV decorations in the public places, parades and procession  (The most famous is the one of New York with the float of the department store Macys)

The day of Thanksgiving, we cook all the day long for prepare the traditional meal: turkey traditionally connected has the holiday, cranberry sauce, corn and sweet potatoes.

The guests can bring dishes for the celebration but above all no gift.

For dessert, there are three tart: pumpkin pie, apple pie and pecan pie.
