I am going to deal with the notion spaces and exchanges. First, I give you a definition of this notion. The exchanges are constant movements. They can be of differents types : people, trade or media and be in spaces all around the world. One of the most way used to do exchanges is the technology. We can ask us how do new technologies influence exchanges between people and do they make them easier ?

To illustrate this notion, I will speak about three documents. Firstly, I'll concentrate about the influence of the new technology.

Let's take a example from an article. This text describes an experiment carried out by 54 students in Portland's Lincoln High School in 2010. Experiment consisted in stopping using technologies for a week. This challenge was the initiative of the English teacher and only 2 students refused. The participants use the new technologies in everyday life, were for some apprehension. They was afraid to miss something. A student said that when his parents aren't home, he turns on the TV and all lights for comfort. It's shows that technologies are a big part of our lifes. For many people like the student I took for example, they fill a lack or they wanna be connected with people. Even the English teacher could'nt resist the temptation. Some volunteers took the opportunity to discover new activities and for the most part, it was a good experience to re-do.

In another article extracted from the Scientific American Magazine. It's about the therapeutic value of blogs. We know that expressing our feelings and emotions can make us feel  better. Scientists have demonstarted that writting about personal experience can be benefical to health. We can said that blogging is a kind of self-medication. The advantages are not only psychological but also physiological : it improves memory and sleep, boost immune cell activities, help suffers of diseases like cancer and help heal faster people after surgery. Some hospitals include it in their treatments and have started hosting patient-authored blogs on their web site. It's shows that across technology we can express ourself and share experience with other people who maybe we don't know. An ill person can also exchange with a community who can understand her more that her entourage, give her advices and maybe create friendships .

In class, we see a description of a Nanny Cam. It's for parents who want to moniter the nanny without knowing it. We may wonder if it is acceptable for parents to use a Nanny Cam. They have every right to know that their children are safe and in case of the children should be mistreated the video can be a proof if it's legal in the country. So the new technologies can be a way to protect ourself. A nanny who discover a camera can feel her privacy being invaded and uncomfortable. Using new technologies can hurt person even if it's not the goal.

To conclude, we can say that new technologies are a good way to exchange with people all around the world. We can maybe not make friends but meet acquaintances with we can share all things we. They are easy access and use, so anybody can express itself even a person who have lack of communication. The disavantages are that, especially for a big part of the generation born with new technologies, we don't go looking for other activities when we could go out with friends for example.
