Fashion

Fashion is a way of life, a way of behaving at a specific time and place. It is a model of short-lived behavior that is considered "good" at a certain time. fashion is an ambition without tomorrow. In other words, the man who wants to be "connected" no longer has any freedom of action, he does not make decisions, he lets himself be led by trends. Can we really say that following fashion is becoming the victim and the slave?

In the first part we will discuss fashion is its meaning, in the second part we will discuss the importance of questioning fashion

The word "mode" has several meanings and should be mentioned. When we hear the word, the first thing that comes to mind is fashion related to appearance, namely fashion in clothing, makeup and hairstyles. Fashion is a universal fact that everything can be: science, education, art, even religion. Fashion changes with place, time and neighborhood.

If Martin Luther in the twenty century had not asked himself questions about religion, if he had followed the Catholic fashions so promoted and propagated by the Church,µ Protestantism might never have seen the light of day. The same goes for education, if no one questioned the principles of religious education, would we still be in a medieval academic system? Fortunately, fashion is not a sustainable phenomenon, it is transient, but for this we must dare to oppose it, not follow it without asking questions. Those who dare to "go against the tide" of the time are often the ones who move society at giant steps.

Therefore, one can say that it is important to ask questions when following fashion, such as: "Is the current fashion really the best for me?". If you do not ask the first basic question, it is possible to get into direct trouble and find yourself a victim of fashion.

To conclude, the term “fashion victim” is often used to refer people who are passionate about fashion and follow trends. By definition, a victim is a person who has suffered harm. Wanting to follow current trends too much can be harmful. Currently, very thin and lean models are the perfect model for millions of women, which, in extreme cases, can lead to diseases: anorexia and bulimia. The press and the media push us to wear very specific looks. People who contract one of these diseases are victims of blindly following the beauty tips that the media and fashion have chosen for us.
