Introduction
I am going to talk about the notion of progress. First of all I would like to give a definition of the idea of progress. The idea of progress consists in believing that the world can become better in terms of art, science, technology, liberty and quality of life.
The concept of progress has accompanied the greatest moments in history.
The idea of progress as far as family is concerned is perforce connected to the evolution of modern society.
The first document focuses on the life of Nelson Mandela. Who was a great hero of not only in South Africa but around the world.
He spent 27 years in prison for fighting for equal rights for blacks in South Africa
This would have crushed the spirit of most ordinary people, but not him.
Nelson Mandela is a hero because he believed that one day that the whole South Africa will sit together eat together drink and live together as one no matter what color your skin is. He is also known as a hero because he stopped the apartheid in South Africa.
As far as I’m concerned, I think that Nelson Mandela was a fighter. Instead of bowing down to this unjust system of government, he became a lifelong warrior in the battle to free South Africa.
That is why I consider him today like a person who has changed the world and deserves to be a great hero.
Now let me explain the reason why I have chosen the second documents that focuses on the life of Martin Luther King.
Martin Luther King was a Civil Rights Leader who worked to end racial segregation and racial discrimination in the United State of America. He fought for the rights of African Americans and many people, blacks as well as whites, supported him. Martin Luther King, Jr is considered a hero because of his leadership during a difficult time in American history. He advocated non-violent resistance to oppression. Dr. King is a hero because he led a revolution. His speeches and persistence led to a huge civil rights movement that allowed blacks and other minorities to no longer officially be discriminated against.
Conclusion
To conclude, these heroes have used their leadership to bring important issues
to the public's attention and convince their fans to get involved
in helping to make the world a better place.
They have helped us to realize that we can all make a difference.
