Anna was walking down the street. She was coming back from a lawyer, which had only comforted her in her choice. As she turned a corner, she met her friend Sarah.

« Hi, said Sarah, raising her hand in hello. I did not expect to meet you here, it is not really near your home.”

“Yeah, I know, Anna replied simply. “

“How are you ? asked Sarah, noticing her friend's concerned expression. You seem concerned.”

“Well ... Anna started thinking. Actually no, I'm not concerned. Am I rather ... determined? she said hesitantly, unsure of using the right word.”

“Determined ? About what ? Asked Sarah tilting her head.”

“You know that I have problems with my family,right ? I just came back from a lawyer. I told him everything about me,my sister and my parents. They can't force me to donate a kidney,she exclaimed, a touch of anger in her voice.”

“I don't really understand, why do your parents absolutely want you to give your sister a kidney?  "

“I was born for the sole purpose of saving Kate. They had a child like me to repair the other. For them I am nothing but a child in spare parts to give to her sister,she said trying to keep calm. “

“And what did the lawyer say?”

“He will file a petition for legal emancipation,she repeated the words of the lawyer with an annoyed air.”

“"It's cool, Sarah exclaimed. But why do you look so upset ?”

“I told you I am determined to go to the end of this, but legal emancipation, it just means that someone other than my parents or myself will decide what will happen to me. Again, I wouldn't have control over my life, she said sadly, lowering her head. I have to go, it was cool to see you.”

And before her friend could even answer anything, Anna had gone on her way, tons of thoughts clouding her mind.
