I am going to talk about biotechnology, in a first time I will talk about the good consequences and in a second time about the perils, finally I will give my personal opinion.

With biotechnology we can use biological processes, or systems to improve the quality of human life, or to cure it. So for sterile people the scientist can do a test-tube baby like Louise the world’s first test-tube baby, and with organ’s grown we can cure the people who have a sick organ for example in document breaking news with the mother’s damaged wind pipe. Moreover biotechnology can use stem cells from another human to regenerate damaged human tissues, indeed in document “real life story” the brother of Elisabeth saved her from dearth. The scientist  can also cure and help  animals, like Oscar a cat in document “bionic Cat” who after losing his two hind feet can walking like a normal cat.

The earliest biotechnologists were farmers who developed improved species of plants,  it is a peril because we don’t know the consequences of GMO on human, and it is bad for the environment, indeed  37 million bees found dead in Ontario after planting large GMO. The biotechnology can be scary if the scientist changes the genetic of human. moreover it is a question of ethics because when the  scientist  uses genetic selection to have a baby, it is not good , we can not choose  who live and who dead .

For me Biotechnology, like other advanced technologies, has the potential for misuse , and for good use , it is  neutral , and the misuse is the modification of human or animals , and the good use it is the cure of human or animals , the scientists must follow the nature for find the solution to cure human.
