Since two thousand and seven, Blue Frog Robotics has been developing cute robots. The startup is at the origin of Buddy, the little robot who becomes a companion on a daily basis. The robot is based on the principle of "open model" in order to be open to the world of developers, universities and research laboratories. Presented at the last CES, the robot will be marketed before the end of twenty sixteen

Buddy is a robot 60 centimeters tall, known mostly in white, it is also black. All in height, and sleek design Apple style, it is cute. Its look, its curves express the sweetness. An heigt-inch screen acts as a face. He can express emotions such as joy, sadness easily. "Design for all" says Rodolphe Hasselvander, designer and creator of Blue Frog Robotics.

Before founding BLUE FROG ROBOTICS and building BUDDY, Rodolphe was the Executive Director for CRIIF – a private research laboratory in robotics – for almost a decade. His research led him to the field of sophisticated robots & Artificial Intelligence for professional application, in areas such as security, construction, surgery and personal assistance. Buddy is a modular platform that can be infinitely enriched with accessories to make your everyday life easier, safer and with a touch of fun.

For me BUDDY is a revolution for the world and I think it's a good robotics innovation because it allows many things such as entertains your kids. to prevent problems and even help in case of problems.It is possible to communicate with him or even communicate with other people since BUDDY. so for me BUDDY is a good innovation!
