Introduction:

As part of my studies as a student in BTS CIRA (Industrial Control and Automatic Regulation), I had to carry out several projects within Norealp.

It is a company specialized in the integration of industrial processes carrying out various services for several different companies. It includes about forty employees.

During my internship, I had the pleasure of working on several separate projects.

The first consisted in creating a synoptic (general view that allows to see a whole set) and a program within a filtration station in Gourbeyre in Guadeloupe, based on the functional analysis of the equipment constituting the station.

For the second, I had to make several synoptic for a treatment plant in Thiant in the North.

Then for the last project, I had to achieve the programming of the display as well as the synoptic views for a water treatment plant in Switzerland

During three months of internship, I lived a good integration in the team. Working with a staff with years of experience in automation has proved very beneficial in acquiring knowledge and skills.

The tasks and research to carry out were very rewarding and interesting.

During the three months, I had to show perseverance and rigor and it was necessary to be quick because the projects had to be made on time.[pic 1]

First project:[pic 2]

For the first project, I achieve the program of the filtration station of Gourbeyre in Guadeloupe from the operating program of the filtration station that my boss Stéphane DELEHAYE had designed.

I used old synoptic views from other stations but from the same client group to understand how the display was made on So Machine.

It is a software of Schneider Electrics brand that allows to design a program.

When you start to make a program, you have to put yourself in the operator's shoes to imagine the easiest way to design the display. It is necessary to simplify as much as possible the interaction on the display.

First of all, the interface was made in several steps. It is necessary to take into account the functioning of the installation, the requests of the customers, the operation of the software ...

The first part contains the utility network that helps manage and tune an operating system by completing a task or group of tasks.

Then, I was able to begin to carry out the continuation of the program already provided by my supervisor.

After programming the display, my supervisor instructed me to realize the synoptic under the Topkapi software. It's called doing supervision. [pic 3]

Here is the general view I made under this software.

Second project:

The second project that was entrusted to me was to achieve several synoptic views in the same programming framework as the filtration station.

These synoptic views are intended for Lyonnaise des Eaux, a subsidiary of the Suez group, specifically for the Thiant plant.

I used old synoptic views already used for this business to maintain the usual customer style.

The software used is Topkapi as for the first project.

Initially, I just had to make a single synoptic view but later, I achieve several views for the Thiant factory of the Lyonnaise des Eaux. This plant performs the water treatment by nanofiltration. Throughout the project, I worked with my colleague Maxime CREPIN, who will also have achieved some synoptic views.

For the first sight that I had to achieve, it was necessary to create a supervision of nanofiltration from the Piping and Instrumentation (PID) plan provided by the company.
