Summary

This report entitled “Student fears in jobless America” explains us that today, in the USA a lot of graduated students aren’t able to land any job to complete their trainee.

Indeed, young American students jobs are grim, due to the complicated economical context, and it is starting to distort young student’s mind.

The official unemployment rate for people ages 20 to 24 is 16%, this statement shows the seriousness of the situation. There are different viewpoints on this situation, but young workers are generally very worried about that.

21 years old graduate Emily brown says “people have to scale back their career hopes and dreams”, this pessimism expressed by this young women is explained by a survey made recently which shows that recession has caused 10% of adults younger than 25 to move back to their parents. Thus, we can truly understand through this report that the economical crisis we are crossing has a really confusing impact that leads some of them to drop out “a lot of people have just given up” says Tamara Draut Demos, Policy Research Organization.

Moreover, the issue is more important than it apparently seems to be, because a lot of students in the USA are going to be saddled with enormous debts. Education in a good private college costs 40 000 $ per year, then without any jobs to pay this, problems will occur vey soon.

In my opinion, for our generation of young workers, the situation is quite bad. Unemployment rates are still decreasing, and people are starting to be very sacred about what is going to happen in the future, the economic crisis is still very present and future is completely uncertain.
