Ireland specialities (Food & wine)

Irish stew : This is a stew of lamb meat with vegetables also potatoes, carrot and parsley

Fish and chips : The famous fish and chip is so consummate in Ireland

Cheese : There are a lot of cheese in Ireland produced in local and little farms of the country.

Seafood and fish : Oyster of Galway bay, they are very famous for their size and taste We can serve them with Guiness Beer

Meat : Connemara lamb. He look like the Mont-St-Michel lamb which we have in France. There salt meat.

Irish breakfast : The traditional Irish breakfast usually consists of sausages, one or two slices of bacon, beans in tomato sauce (not always), half a tomato rose to the pan and one or two eggs . There are different variations: with mushrooms or ashbrowns, potato pancakes grated with pudding (a kind of white or black pudding) or smoked salmon. All accompanied by toast. Excellent amount money. However, you can be sure you have had your fill of cholesterol for the day! But if you go there, you will find other breakfasts with all the food we have in France

- South Coast: white and black pudding Clonakilty, Kerry lamb, pig's feet cooked or marinated, Tipperary beef and north Cork, seafood and twenty tasty farmhouse cheeses.

- West Coast: smoked Salmon and eels, honey, blueberries and other berries Burren, scented sausages seaweed Mayo ...

- East Coast: shrimp Dublin Bay, the blue of Wicklow, mountain sheep of the Cooley Peninsula, the famous Hereford beef, the famous Dubliners dish, coddle (sausages, breakfast salted potatoes onions).

- Northern Ireland: oysters Hillsborough (County Down), Armagh County's apples, eels from Lough Neagh, bread Guinness Portadown, smoked lamb Enniskillen and, of course, salmon Antrim coast ...

Cider : Do not forget the cider (including Stag). The most popular brand: Bulmers, found quite easily to pressure.

Poteen : The poteen is an eau-de-vie clandestinely manufactured in Ireland. The tradition goes back very far. Making illegal alcohol became one of the Irish people's Resistance shapes.
