ASSESSMENT REPORT FORM

Notes for Internal Examiners:

(1) Please complete the attached ‘Assessment Report’ form. This form will accompany the sample of scripts sent to the external examiner. Section A records basic information relating to the course and should be completed by the first internal marker. Section B provides an analysis of the AGREED marks suggested by the internal markers. Section C lists the agreed marks for students whose examination scripts and coursework assignments will be forwarded to the external examiner for moderation. The sample of examination scripts for consideration by the external examiner SHOULD NOT be identical to the sample considered by the internal second marker. The sample for the external examiner should be representative and should include scripts from each mark range (i.e. A, B etc) plus all narrow failures. It is essential that Section D is completed by the internal second marker.

(2) Once complete please pass this ‘Assessment Report’ form on to Jason Rust along with the sample of examination scripts to be considered by the external examiner. Jason will attach the corresponding coursework assignments to the exam scripts to send on to the External Examiner.

(3) All forms should be typed and signed and dated on the final page by both internal markers.
