Peter Pan, the captain who wouldn't grow up

Once upon a time, there was a terrible captain named Peter Pan. He reigned over the Neverland thanks to his flying boat which was covered with fairy’s dust. It is said that he was the most powerful captain.

One night, a boy, called James Hook, invited his friend, Mr. Smee, to sleep at his home. At sleeping time, Mrs. Hook told them the adventures of the Captain Peter Pan, as usual before going to bed.

An hour later, Mr. Smee, who was still awake, heard a noise outside. He opened the window and saw a big boat in front of the house. He ran towards his friend and woke him.

‘James, look! It’s the Jolly Roger, the Captain Peter Pan’s boat!’ he cried.

James came to the window to see his hero’s flying boat. They rose above and suddenly, children tied them up and carried them to their captain.

Mr. Smee asked him what he said, but he didn’t answer.

‘What’s your name?’ interrogated the Captain Pan.

‘My name is James Hook and this is Mr. Smee. We want to be members of your crew,’ he stated.

‘Hum, where is your hook, Mr. Hook?’ the Captain asked.

‘I don’t know,’ he faltered.

The Captain took James’s hand and cut it to give it to eat to his crocodile. He gave a hook to James.

‘Now, you can be the Captain Hook!’ he laughed.

The Tinker Bell and the children began to laugh, but James didn’t lose hope. He left the Jolly Roger with Mr. Smee. He found a ship, bigger than the Captain Pan’s boat, a crew and a fairy. Several weeks later he became the most formidable captain. He was really happy because he realized his dream.
