Today I want to speak about Coca-cola.

This manufacturer is introduced in 1886 by the John Pemberton, a pharmacist, in the United-states. Coca cola appeared in France in 1919 after the first world war.

Since the second world war, the ‘Coca Cola company’ is considered as a symbol of Americanism. Original drink, it is composed of sugar, caramel, caffeine and carbonic gas. At the beginning, the first recipe is composed of alcohol and John Pemberton transformed it. This product can be used like a patent medicine in case of diarrhea or stomach ache.

This drink was marketed from 1960. Every day more than one billion of bottles are sold in the world and every year the Coca Cola company have a turnover of 29 billions. His principal concurrent is Pepsi.

The trademark logo is composed of two colours : red and white. The Coca Cola company are endowed to make good add for example with pin-up like Bradshaw Crandall. (montre l’affiche)

There are different form of bottle (like this) and some people collect it.

Now, to conclude, I give you few slogans of Coca cola’s advertising :
