Is Bob Marley message pertinent for people in France?

Bob Marley’s message can be pertinent in France but not so as in others countries like Jamaica or part of Africa. I will explain you why.

First, even if Bob Marley’s songs are listening all other the world, some themes evocated like politics, religion or Africa are more especially dedicate. “No chains around my feet but I'm not free, oh” Concrete jungle. Probably lots of persons listen to Bob Marley’s songs, but with lyrics they can’t really understand, because all words in these songs means something more significant. “We've got to fulfill the Book. Won't you help to sing, These songs of freedom” Redemption song. Moreover, lyrics in his songs about religion can’t be understood by anyone, so less pertinent for French people for example. And when the Icon tells us about slaves in Africa, even if people in France know about this history. “It was a buffalo soldier in the heart of America, stolen from Africa, brought to America” buffalo soldier. About peace it is not depending on the country too. “One love, one heart let's get together and feel alright“ One love

In his songs when Bob Marley speaks about discrimination, some people can referred that to others dates for them, just enjoyed his war against injustice. “Stand up for your rights
Get up, stand up
Don't give up the fight” Get up stand up. And “Burnin all illusion tonight. Oh, stop them!” Burning and looting Bob Marley is a pacifist icon, thanks to his lyrics, and even if some words are not adapted to everybody. Just because he wants peace and happiness in the world and everyone can hear that in his songs.

In reality, I think we can’t say that Bob Marley’s songs are “pertinent” in France because of the past and the religion, which are different to Bob Marley’s one, and evocated… But these songs are full of meanings for anyone, and give hope to many people. Singin': "Don't worry 'bout a thing, 'Cause every little thing gonna be all right." Three little birds
