Into the Wild

In the saloon

At the beginning of this scene, we can see Alex & his friend working. Alex is dirty and his clothes too, he wear a mask. He is cleaning a little place underground and says “I like all this” when his friend asks him what does he think about this.

Then, after the job, they go to the bar called “Cabaret” at the evening in truck. Alex asks to his friend where he can find books about hunting but he doesn’t know anything about that, he tells him to talk to Kevin. Afterwards, his friend is interesting by knowing why Alex needs that. Alex wants to go to Alaska to live with the nature in the wild. He is annoyed by this “sick society”. He would like to live with nothing, in middle of mountains, river, … and with sky and nature around. That’s why Alex with his friend shout repeatedly “Society” and they hit on the table. He “don’t understand why people, why every fucking person is so bad to each other so fucking often”. And yet, his friend says that’s a mistake to do that. He lectures Alex by saying that he is so young and he “can’t be juggling blood and fire all the time”. Then he adds to take an interest in what happened in Roswell in late 1940s.
