THE STRESS

« Stress is a reaction people have when excessive pressure or demands are placed upon them, and arrives when an individual believes they are unable to cope » The Health and Safety Executive.

Everybody feels at a moment of its life a stress, which is more or less important. This reaction is absolutely normal in a human life, but can being a huge problem and makes some people feel really uncomfortable who are naturally and easily stressed. It also causes illness, and increases the risk of conditions like obesity, heart disease, Alzheimer's disease, diabetes, depression.

The stress is coming at different time, in professional life or in relationships. It has important negatives effects on the health and can causes exclusions.

First of all, the stress at work is probably the most important source of stress. This is due to the different responsibilities given at work, and the lack of time for the accomplishment of important tasks. Furthermore, this engenders pressures.

People who are unemployed are more and more. This situation causes conflicts between the members of the family and this is a big source of stress which concern how to live, how to pay and how to make live children.

Secondly, the stress is present in relationship, between members of family or in a group of friends. Indeed, families’ problems like divorced make children and parents in a stressful situation, because it’s a hard and big changes. In addition, it can also happen that children feel uncomfortable because of the fear of disappointed their parents, in their orientation, job, choices … It’s always a real pressure for them because parents often push children to the best. Moreover, the relations in society can be difficult for people who are shy and not sociable. For these people, there is a real problem of integration which is due to stress and finally, engenders stress.

In a third hand, the stress has bad effect on human health when it is an important one. Actually, health and stress are linked. A stressed person is exposed to different illness like diabetes, heart diseases, cancers, and so on… In addition, it can cause a feeling of exclusion.

In conclusion, the stress is a sensation that everybody feels at a moment because of a big amount of responsibilities at work, and obviously pressure or unemployment. Also, it is present in relationships between families members and more generally, in society. The consequences can be important and cause different kind of illness and ill-being from the person.

Finally, the stress is a dangerous effect which happens to everybody and that we all should know how to control it, to protect ourselves. While stress can has positive effects like in sport competition where it can to be motivational.
