My name is Nicola I am 17 year and I am studying thermal mass cooling and heating at a vocational school in Villiers le Bel.

Today, I am going to speak about an American series The Walking Dead.

First, I am going to talk about the director and when the Walking Dead was released . Then, in a second part I am going to deal with the subject matter of the series.

The Walking Dead is an American post-apocalyptic horror drama television series developed by Frank Darabont. It is on the comic book series of the same name by Robert Kirkman, Tony Moore and Charlie Adlard. The Walking Dead premiered on October 30, 2010, on the television channel AMC in the United States. The series has so far 5 seasons. The series broke record for a series broadcast on a pay channel.

The story focuses on Rick Grimes who wakes up from coma after a zombie invasion. Then, he goes in search of him family, who is found with a group of survivors.He becomes the leader of the group and somehow he survives against zombies.There are other groups such as hunger and disease.

To conclude, I have decided to talk about the series The walking Dead because I think it is a gripping series with all the ingredients I like such as horror and fantasy.
