Welcome to my website! I'm Cristofer and I'm 40 years old. I was born in the United-States and I left this beautiful country to stay in Bali.

In this website, I will speak you about some culture shock.

Well... I'll begin to speak about my experience.

The Travel

Last month, on December holidays, I decided to visit London during three weeks.

So, I was visiting the town with the Tower Bridge, the London Eye, and lots of famous monuments like them. I saw the Buckingham Palace too, and that was huge and very exciting when Queen's guards went out the palace.

After lots of wonderful visits during two weeks, I decided to do something else and to visit the place which is not so visited. That was great but it was not the same type of life. I saw a lot of British people who were in their apartment.

The culture shock

One day, I was affected by the culture shock. After the dinner, I wanted to see the British life and I left my hotel to go on streets. It was dark and sometimes gloomy on little streets. After a time, I saw a club which seems to be open, because the lights were on and lots of people were in front of to wait. I didn't know this type of club and I wanted to go there, just to see. I queued up with people who had summer clothes and were very warmed while we were on Winter! That was schocked me because I thought that British were polite people. When I was in front of the security guard, he cried me that I didn't have the correct style to enter. My first reaction was to be surprised and annoyed about his behaviour. Two minutes later, I was ashamed of this event because I learned by a man, too late, that was a club where we are dancing. I didn't know what's this before, because in my country, in Bali, I didn't see one of this type of club.
