This painting was made by michel ange from 1508 to 1511.

His name is « La naissance d’Adam »

Michel Ange was born in 1475 in Caprese ( Republic of Florence) and he died in 1564 in Rome.

He was a Florentine sculptor, painter, architect, poet and town planner of the High Renaisannce.

Architect he design the dome of Saint Peter In Vatican from 1506 to 1626, during 120 years.

Sculptor he created the david statues in 1504 and Painter he painted the « Jugement Dernier » on the altar of Sixtine Chapel.

He was one of the leader of High Renaissance movement ans he is the precursor of Mannerist movement.

The High Renaissance of Cinquecento is an artistic period which follows on from the first Renaissance.

Pictural touch : Clarity, sensivity, simplicity and nobility of form, accompanied by a rich palette, a splendid and poetic use of shadow and light, great beauty of the body and brilliant technique.

This is the fourth of the nine frescoes inspired by the Genese Book and she constitues the central part of the vault of the ceiling of the Sixtine Chapek in Vatican.

Artwork description :

Go is represented as an old bearded man dressed in a loose red cloth that he sares with cherubil. His left arm embraces a woman interpreted by Eve. His right arm stretches out to give the spatk of life with the tip of his index finger which goes in the direction of adam. By touching their fingers they create the of life which is the creation of man

We can see an ad were is represented un child and a toy named « Lego »

Both point the finger at each other.

The picture on the ad is very simple, which brings back to the simplicity of the logo « Légo » and also the simplicity of the slogan for the campaign of communication, which is « create ».

The child’s hand, facing the toy, is coherent because it represent the communication target aimed.

The ad is in relationship with a part of the fresco of the Sixtin Chapel, done by Michel Ange.

On the ad, both charaters point the finger on each other, this represent Adam in the bottom (the Légo) and God on top (the child).

The representation done by Michel Ange is the think about God, by touching the finger of Adam, gives life et create the Human.

In this ad, its the child which tends the finger like is going to gives life to the toy.

For the viewers, this ad could make them thing to the fresco of La Création d’Adam.

For the parents which buy Legos to their children, this proves why children can have fun with toys, because for the is like their friends, as if they were alive.
