An anonymous murder to a modern myth[pic 1]
Do you really know who is Jack the Ripper? We lead a survey to know who
do the majority of people think is Jack the Ripper. There are approximately 80% of people who answer that he's just
an character of fiction and 20% who
said that he is a serial killer of the
XIX century and they have right.
Now, you can easily understand the fact
that Jack the Ripper became a «modern
myth» but i know that you would like how and why.
To understand how, you have to know that Jack the Ripper or «the Whitechapel murderer» has killed 5 prostitues in 1888 or in other word he killed in a period when there was a bad political situation but beacause of he was a «new thing» for the habitant of London, they never known something like a serial killer before. All of that facts lead to his high mediatisation on the firt page in newspaper in this period. Since that,Jack the Ripper became internationally famous but he became a myth since the end of the investigation that result in a fail because the identity of Jack hasn't proved an it created a lot of theory about him.
Why him? Why do we continue to speak about a killer who killed 140 years ago and is dead?
It easy to understand, It's just because after that long time, the puzzle of Jack the Ripper hasn't been complete yet and still make us curious.
