   i am convinced that the « guide on the side »teaching method is way better and educative than the « stage on the stage » teaching method. In this assignment I will explain my opinion on two different teaching method, the first one, a new modern way to aquire knowledge who place students in the central role with the help of more technology and internet and the second one where the teacher is the central role and give knowledge to the students by fill their brain’s with informations.

    On the first hand, thank’s to great progress in technology some establishment set up a new teaching method « guide on the side » where the student’s build their own knowledge by conflate information and their previous knowledge to create a link and solid understanding. The teachers doesn’t bring everything to passive student’s, pupil pick out what they think is important through document (video, speech , text , illustrations, …).that is to say they actively take part in the comprehension of the lessons and became more and more autonomous . Indeed the teacher is there for helping them but he doesn’t have all the answer, he will steer student’s to understand document’s and will help them to connect what they see with what they already know. Considering that the teacher is not the first source of information the lessons will be more personnal and the teacher more present for every person in the class. Thanks to the technology this is BV possible, for exemple with live conference, email and exchange with many other person about their jobs or about what their are studying.

     But on the other hand this would be extremly difficult to establish, the « stage on the stage » teaching method is use all around the world and is in evidence. May this teaching method appear to be not suitable with your era but she did her proof. The teacher, in this method is the fist source of informations, he passed the informations to students how passively receive it. The « stage on the stage » method doesn’t need a lot of equipment and is extremely standard. And unfortunatly this would take many decade’s to adapt the « guide on the side » method in the majority of establishment in the world.

     To conclude i would say that probably, when i will be an adult the educational system gonna change and students will be more interested and critical on what they see and understood.
