where does the halloween party come from?

Halloween is a famous celebration in all he english speaking countries and now it’s even celebrated in france .

It’s celebrated on october 31 ST in France and in the USA

in the united states hallowen and more celebrated by contribution to france.

6 million tonnes of pumpkins are sold each year in the USA! Jack O’Lantern is a must-see symbol of Halloween.People celebrating Halloween place their pumpkins on their doorstep during the celebrations. Americans are fond of this tradition and this activity is practiced by young and old throughout the country

Pumpkins:Originally, beets and turnips were emptied to cut them into the shape of a skull. In the United States, pumpkins have taken over. We empty them and cut them with more or less frightening faces. Why? To scare the spirits.

Collecting candy:"Trick or treat", understand "Stuff or treat". This formula is pronounced by disguised children who come knocking on the doors of their neighborhood to collect sweets and make pranks if they do not get loot.

the displays:Many cities in the United States organize Halloween night parades. The principle is simple since it is about wandering the streets with more or less morbid disguises and sometimes lanterns in the shape of a pumpkin. Among the most famous parades are New York, Las Vegas and Anoka, Minnesota.

For several years now, Halloween fans have been no longer limited to their disguise and have completely transformed their house by equipping it with bright animations, multiple pumpkins, skeletons and cobwebs.

What are we eating? The pumpkin being in the spotlight, it is often found on the menu of October 31. We consume it in soup, but the Americans also like to decorate their cookies which take forms of ghosts or monsters for the occasion.  

Beggars used to go from houseto house , and from village to village , to ask for a piece of cake .

If the people gave them a piece of cake , they prayed for their dead .

If not , they d’idn’t pray  the dead  come to take the living . 

In fact the «  Trick or treat » comes from the tradition of the soul cake .

Little by littleis has changed .The beggars been replaced by the children and the soul cake has been replaced by at first oranges , then by candies .

The original « trickor treat » s that the children with throw flour at the people  who refused to give them sweets

my opinion halloween is a commercial holiday but it's a good way to meet as friends
