Nowadays the globalization tends to reduce the countries identity. The world is becoming standardized. However the key to a successful; adaptation, product launch, businesship or relationship all requires one thing: the study of the past habits and the cultural evolution of countries. The position that the ideas, meanings, beliefs and values people learn as members of society determines human nature. I order to understand clearly a civilization, or an entire country the starting point is to analyze the culture.

We can wonder what is culture exactly? Culture is that invisible bond, which ties the people of a community together. It is defined as the shared patterns of behaviors and interactions, cognitive constructs, and affective understanding that is learned through a process of socialization. These shared patterns identify the members of a culture group while also distinguishing those of another group. Culture shapes the personality of a community. The language that a community speaks, the art forms it hosts, its staple food, its customs, traditions and festivities comprise the community's culture.

In order to illustrate the importance of cultural analysis, this rapport will light up the identity of two very different countries: The cultural differences between China and Western cultures. The first part of this report shows the Chinese traditions and influences in comparison to the French culture. The second part focuses on the different management style.
