In spite of this, the social welfare system is becoming stricter. This makes their situations all the more complicated to overcome. Cuts in public spending greatly affect social assistance, which can no longer provide for basic needs such as drinking or eating for people with disabilities.

The inequalities in the system are so great that in the professional world it becomes complicated to work as a disabled worker. There are the pensioners who do not receive social assistance when they would be entitled to it. And the carers who observe without being able to do anything has a deterioration of their working conditions.

To conclude, the British welfare or health care system is not yet ready. There is a lot of imbalance in the population and too great a gap in the standard of living between people. Reductions in public spending are necessary but not to the detriment of the population.
