Hello, the company I'm going to introduce to you today is Porsche. I chose the Porsche company because I am passionate about the automotive industry and I have loved this manufacturer since I was a child. The company was founded in 1931 in Stuttgart by the brothers Porsche, Ferdinand and Ferry. They are of Austrian nationality, in 1963. Porsche markets for the first time its historical model which is the Porsche 911. This one made the fame of the brand and the old models increase in value with the years. Porsche was also an arms manufacturer for Nazi Germany. Ferdinand Porsche was responsible for many historic tank models of the German army.

The company is a public limited company whose president today is Oliver Blume. Porsche is a subsidiary of Volkswagen, whose president is Matthias Muller. Volkswagen is the second most powerful automobile group in the world after Toyota. The Volkswagen Group owns numerous brands such as Audi, Lamborghini and Bentley.

Today Porsche and sells sports and high-end vehicles. With a turnover in 2019 of 26.06 billion euros. The company currently has 650 stores through 122 country. The German brand employed more than 25,000 people last year.

To continue, I will analyze the company's revenues since 2011. We can see that since 2011 the turnover has almost tripled. In 2017 the turnover has decreased by less than one billion from euros. Otherwise the turnover has been increasing for years. The biggest development was in 2015 with a turnover that increased by 4 milliards.

My second graph shows the countries with the highest consumption of Porsches in 2019. The United States is well ahead with almost 5 milliards Dollars spent. Surprisingly followed by Turkey with $3 billion and Germany with $2.5 billion. Then the following countries are much further ahead with the UK spending just under a billion. As well as Italy which spends less than 500 million. France does not appear in this table but is in sixth place but is not even more than 50 million behind Italy.
