Présentation de la notion et de la problématique

the notion im going to deal with is spaces and echanges, to begin with i'd lik to give a definition of the notion. An echange is an act of giving and reciving something elese in return. It could also be seen as a continue moovement or circulation. Their is different kind of echanges : media, people for example immigration, trade. Futhermore this notion deals with the geographical and symbolic areas that all societies occupy and the interactions between men and different societies. So in relation to the notion ''Espaces y echanges'' my presentation will deal with this question: What do borders mean to First Peoples in Canada ?

To illustrate the notion i ve chosen to talk about The first peoples in Canada secondly i'll talking about the territory versus the country finally i ll present the recognizing first peoples in Canada.

-From sea to sea :

The Canda's national mooto is ''from sea to sea''.This refers to the fact that Canada is bordered to the west by the Pacific Ocean, to the east by the Atlantic Ocean and to the north by the Arctic Ocean.

Canda have a very low population density ; around 3,5 persons/km^2. Most of peoples live in the South and East of Canada. Furthermore the nuber of inhabitant amount to approximately:34,482,779 in 2011 among this populations there is 1,2 million aborigines.

-Fact and figures :

Canada name origin come frome the Saint lawrence Iroquoian word kanata, meaning ''village'',or land. Canada has many natural ressources like oil and natural gas.

The Canadian flag is called ''the maple leaf flag'', the 11 points on the maple leaf emblem are said to represent Canada's provinces and the federal governement.

The official languages is English since 2006, the Canadian Capital is Ottawa .

Canada is the secound largest country , divided into 6 time zones.

-Extreme :

In fact, Canada’s climate is as varied as its people, depending on where in the country you choose to live. Although much of the north has a particularly harsh arctic climate, that area is mostly uninhabited(-40°C). The most populous regions of Canada, which lie in the southern regions along the US border, see four distinct seasons a year. Although winter lasts longer than summer in most of the country, the summers are quite hot(+35°C). Rainfall varies from light to moderate, and there are heavy snowfalls in some areas.

Winters are less severe in the south(-16°C). Temperatures in spring and fall tend to be more moderate. With these extreme temperature Canadians know how to stay warm thanks to heated public transportation sustems. Some cities have also installed sheltered walkways from on building to another.
