Once upon a time, there was this animal, the Fox, who was cunning, greedy and weak but

he was the smartest animal in the bunch. To be respected and superior to other animals,

he made a plan to steal and drink a part of the forbidden Fountain of Youth, the Creator's

drink, which gives immortality to whoever drinks it, at night when everyone was sleeping.

He easily climbed several rocks and crossed several bridges to reach the fountain then

thanks to him being well-spoken, he succeeded to make a pact with the keeper of the

fountain that if he drank the beverage, he would not take the cure if he regretted it. He

accepted the condition. Once the beverage was drank and he finally succeeded, he felt like

the most powerful and strongest animal ever and thought that he would be more

respected, however it didn’t go as planned. Indeed, he always gets beaten because even

after becaming immortal, he was still weak in battle and he always ended up injured and

suffering. In the end, he regretted his decision and wanted to end this mental and physical

suffering but he couldn’t. After having tried several times to kill himself, he begged the

Creator to listen to his word and accept his wish to die as soon as possible, saying that he

accepted any punishment for his sin caused by his greed. His wish was fulfilled by the

Creator after many reflections and he did something. The Creator said that he will use his

body filled with the fountain to give an immortal lifespan to Nature but that his soul will

follow him and serve him for eternity. He accepted his decision and went to se rve him for

eternity even though he was not totally satisfied because even if his wish was granted, it

was still a shame for him because his body was used by the animals he hated so much.
