Dear Mr Starnes

I permit myself to insist on the conversation we had last Monday after the meeting of the board of administration. You know I ask your permission for launching a week devoted to Diversity and Inclusion and I would like my classmate to join the conversation #inclusionstartwithI

You know I m french and when I arrived in Culver Creek the situation was quite awkward you know it s difficult to feel inclued in a class where you don t know anybody. And it s more difficult when you don t speak the same language as the majority. It s quite hard to see your classmates laughing without you not because they are’nt nice but just because you just don t dare to meet them.

 Actually when I arrived here I thought that I was the single one who feel excluded but in two years I become aware of the loneliness of a lot of people. Indeed there are lot of pupils who feel bad because they belong to a minority. But actually we all come from all walks of life.

That’s why I would like to organize a week where everybody can show to their classmates who they really are. I would like other pupils to step out their groups to meet those who feel lonely. We have to show them how inclued they are they have to can exchange their experience and the ones who dont feel as them to understand why they are homosexual why they don t eat meat why why they crying because of racism and what does he feel when he is injured by classmates. Everybody must be open minded and share all parts of us to show to all pupils of Culver Creek that we are a big family. In corridors no body should stare at one another just because he kiss an other guy or because her hair is pink.

My goal today it s to inclued every pupils in Culver Creek. I hope that every body  will feel at home in the school in a few week.
