IDEE DE PROGRES

Progress is the action of going forward, of growing, of being better. I’am going to answer my problematic, : « How to progress in one own ». To answer at this, I will explain the situation of there disabled persons in the sport. I will talk about different persons like Oscar Pistorius, and in what there is a progress in one own.

To begin, I will look into Oscar Pistorius, an disabled south african athlete, famous by his first participation of the Olympic Game.

Oscar Pistorius was born without leg in 1986 in Johannesburg, he practice the running thanks to prosthesis. At the 2012 Summer Olympics, Pistorius became the first double-leg amputee to participate in the Olympics.

This men enter in the progress because he is the first person disabled who participated at Olympics Games.

We can link the situation of Pistorius with the situation of Jawad.

Jawad is a disabled athlete , he ride bike but he pedal with his hands, because he was amputate of his legs after an accident. And he participated at the Paralympics Games in 2012.

This idea of progress is explain by a coach of swimming in this own, he said that in 1976, there is the first Paralympic Games, this allow at the disabled person to practice there sport in competition, striking an évolution, so a progress in one own : the sport.

This two persons take part of the progress with them history, there history striking the idea of progress in the sport. Pistorius with his participation at Olympics Games, who create a new field in the sport : the sport for the disabled
