We will talk about the most famous electronic group, Daft punk.

Daft punk is a french electronic group from Paris.

It is composed of Thomas Bangalter and Guy Manuel De Homen-Christo.

Created in 1993, the group participated in the creation of electronic music called French Touch .

In may 1993, a review of the British magazine describes the band’s music as « Daft punk trash » « punk idiot » in french. The name of the duo came to this insult.

One of the original Daft Punk is that they are independent and faceless, they always wear public helmets and costumes.

Daft released their first album, HomeWork in 1997.

Their second album is Disocvery. It contains hits such as One more Time, Digital Love and Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger.

The commercial sucess is present. The group got two grammy nominations in 2001.

In march 2005 They released the third album « Human after all »

In 2006, the duo was voted « Best Dj of the World » by mixmag.

They began a tour with dates in the US, Belgium, Japan, Portugal but also in France.

The group mixes in a pyramid in the middle of the stage, dressed in robot costumes,with a set of beautiful lights.

They won two Grammy Awards in 2009, with the album and the single Alive, Harder Better Faster Stronger.

The last album Daft Punk Ramdom Access Memories was released in 2013, in less than one days the single Get lucky is number 1 global I tunes.

With this album, Daft Punk won five Grammy Award in January 2014

In 2015, The documentary Unchained daft punk comes back on their career.

Daft Punk made a great come back in 2016 with two tubes with the Next Weekend’s singer.
