Hello everyone, I am Mickael Nabet.

Nowadays, numerous women and men turn to the plastic surgery to modify parts of their bodies of which they are ashamed. They feel had complexes and put aside by the society because of their physical forms. But the question is the following one: to where these people are ready of going to reach their ideal physical appearance?

To be able to answer this question, so much leave the most basic: the ethics. The ethics is defined as being " all the moral principles which are on the basebasis of the conduct of somebody ". We thus touch here the moral domain. The ethics is in a way all the moral rules which define what somebody is authorized to make, not according to the legal law, but according to the society.

Our reporter Damien Hajjar went to a surgical clinic to meet them:

Reporter (Damien) :

Hello, we belong here to Los Angeles near the biggest private hospital of plastic surgery of the United States where men and women spend astronomical sums to look like their vision of perfection, their idols either even cats. Yes, yes, you have me naturally, Jocelyn Wildenstein who felt abandoned by his husband, the billionaire Alec Wildenstein, spent 3 million euros in plastic surgery. Thus, the latter being fascinated by cats she wanted to look like a feline! Other extreme case, Jennifer Pamplona nevertheless herself model to spend 420 000 euros to look like Kim Kardashian. The young woman wiped eight surgeons' refusals, which judged the set of these too heavy and dangerous operations, before one not. Very fortunately, the plastic surgery is not that symbol of the whims of rich. She also allows to be freed from the terrible weight of the society.

Surgery can sometimes change lives and we are currently in the company of someone who has had the opportunity to do so.

Hi, why did you decide to do surgery?

Marriane :

I was a nice and intelligent girl. However, my nose pleased me not at all. I was had complexes by my nose and my close friends recommended me to do plastic surgery. As a result, I waited for the good moment to be operated. My parents had told me: " if you have your diploma, we pay you the surgery. " During summer holidays, I thus am to visit a surgeon. I thus had a new diploma and a new nose. It gave the impression me of having a more attractive mouth also. I really changed since this surgery. Really. Besides, I am brought in in faculty later, thus nobody knew me … we believed that I had always had this nose! More to have no complexes is so liberator. I do not regret at all my choice. The plastic surgery changed my life and my report with my friends. Fortunately, I can’t longer remember the nose I had before.

Why do more and more people turn to the plastic surgery?

Dany:

First of all, the people consult because of the report of a physical imperfection and think of solving their complex by removing it. They are so in search of a happiness which they do not master completely. Others think that to modify their image or make it more graceful by the surgery, will give them access to a work, will make them more competitive, younger, etc.

Micka: Do you think that society implicitly imposes a certain dictatorship of beauty?
