Hello everyone, you don't know who I am but the government knows who you are, they know absolutely everything about you, your name, your personality and what you look like. Do you find this normal?

This reality is the panopticon. Initially,The panopticon is way of building blocks or buildings that allows the people within a building to be observed without knowing when they are being watched, but knowing that they may be observed..

Many of prisons have been built according to this concept because it creates a feeling of oppression

But today, the panopticon designates the permanent surveillance of our society. Everyone is watched when we walk in the street with the camera, when we walk in the park with the police patrol, when we surf on the internet with the consumer surveillance system which collects data.

If this persists, our society will resemble et the Big Brother's society where the government knows everything about you as described in 1984 by George Orwell.

In the future, there will be a precrime detective agency whose job is to prevent murders from happening, like in the movie Minority Report.
