for years we have seen a lot of superhero movies but recently antihero movies and comics are appearing. To start some definitions: A hero is a person who does extraordinary things for the good of all. An anti-hero is someone who does extraordinary things but for their own good.

xSince heroes and anti-heroes are opposites, so are there stories.

I think we can create two groups of viewers, one of whom loves fairy tales and stories that always end well with super heroes. Then another part on more original stories for an more and more large audience with the anti heroes

However superheroes and antiheroes have the same type of superpowers. So why are anti-heroes more popular than heroes?

For starters, we tend to prefer anti-heroes over heroes because they have the same flaws as we do. For example deadpool assumes to wear "crocs", this element connects him to our world and these little details make today's anti-heroes are more popular. They don't always make the right choice, we love the moment of doubts, the way they don't care about doing bad things. Another thought that makes anti-heroes love is that we want to support them with them in their fight against almost invincible heroes today, their fights are almost always too easy. For exemple Batman does not have super power, he is the only one who can have a different background from the other heroes but as usual he finds a new gadget or even his enemy's ultimate weak point.

In short, the life of super heroes has become repetitive and perfect at the same time, the people maybe have they no longer need to see but more anti-heroes who look like them every day
