This document is an article published in the New York Times on January 21, 2022. It was written by Dana Goldstein, a national correspondent for The New York Times, she writes about how education policies impact families, students and teachers across the country. She is the author of the bestselling “The Teacher Wars: A History of America's Most Embattled Profession,” and a two-time finalist for The Livingston Award. This document deals with the impact of technology on education. We are thus invited to analyze the impact of new technologies on human beings.

Today, digital technology is everywhere, among young people as well as adults. It can be found in all social classes. There are now many digital tools such as high-tech cell phones, touch tablets, computers, televisions, we can also see the evolution of medical equipment.

We can then ask ourselves is the digital technology a danger and does it only bring disadvantages to the human being?

In a first step, we will see that the digital technology can cause dangers for the human being from a personal and relational medical point of view. In a second time, we will present the digital as having advantages for the human being in particular the improvement of the communication of the advantages in the world of the work, and especially in the field of the education.

First of all, we notice that the digital technology represents some dangers for the human being, in particular dangers of medical orders, dangers of psychological orders and finally dangers for a good relationship.

First of all, we notice that the digital technology in some people causes medical problems, especially a decrease of the sight, that's why there are more and more people who wear glasses only when they are confronted with a digital screen. This can lead to epileptic seizures or tendonitis. In addition, people who work in front of a screen all day long have many problems. Because of the development of digital technology, there are more and more scams on the Internet. We often notice the problem of anonymity, many people do not show their true identity and that often violates the privacy of people through harassment, pedophilia, surveillance, filing. That's why, today, there is cybercrime which only deals with its own business.

Digital technology can cause many problems to the results of a good relationship. Indeed, we notice that digital technology gradually isolates some people from each other, not to mention the lack of respect for each other, which is reflected in a lack of civic-mindedness. Moreover, in the world of work, we notice that digital technology eliminates many jobs by replacing them with automatic machines, which causes many less jobs, that is to say a lot of unemployment. We can also notice that people are never disconnected from the working world since they can be contacted anywhere and at any time.

More seriously, digital technology can eventually cause psychological problems. We notice that digital technology can cause problems on people's private life. Indeed, some people become addicted to digital, which can be very dangerous. The strong use of digital technology can cause a lack of interest in other areas, especially in the school curriculum, these people can confuse the virtual with reality. The presence of digital technology in schools has many disadvantages. Indeed, it is a source of distraction for those who use them because computers and tablets can prevent them from concentrating. In addition, it seems that students are less able to gather information when they do so from a computer. Information is better absorbed when it is handwritten rather than when it is written on a computer. The use of screens at school increases screen time. Thus, there is a concern about adverse effects such as sleep disturbances and risk of obesity that
