Intro

In 1960, Tom Monaghan and his brother buy the restaurant Dominick’s, a small pizza restaurant in Michigan, USA.

In 1965, Tom Monghan had purchased two additional pizzerias, the logo was inspired by that.

In fact, at the beginning, Tom wanted to create a new dot at the addition of every new store.

But, with the rapid expansion of the brand, the idea was quickly faded. So, actually we have always the three dots on the domino’s logo.

After 25 years, more than 200 stores in the USA, the brand opened its first international store in Canada. And now, there are more than 11000 stores all around the world.

The brand was named “chain of the year” in 2003, 2010 and 2011, so logically it was traded at the NYSE with the name DPZ.

Domino’s Pizza sets itself apart from competitors by some innovations like the heat wave, a bag who keep the heat or by the first utilization of a drone to deliver a pizza for example.

After this introduction I’m gonna to tell you about my experience in this pizza restaurant chain.

After my A Level, I’m going to Nantes for study at the law faculty.

But to pay my rent, I must to find a job. So I was hired at the Domino’s Pizza Nantes Centre. This one is the number one of the domino’s pizza restaurant in France.

In April 2016, to be more closed to my parents I was come back in ST nazaire.

I wanted to continue my formation with a High education diploma in the Business  Units Management and I started to work for them in April too.

They was agree with my desire to do this day release training in your school.

My public limited company, was opened in 2007 by Romain Moreau, he’s the owner of 4 others Domino’s Pizzas.

My company located in the center of St nazaire, near the city hall does approximatively a turnover of 22000 euros  by week with a size of 100 square meters.

We have 22 employees.

My company contributes to the strength of the brand on the competitors, in fact, we are the leaders in the market of pizzas, better than Pizza Hut now for example and there’s no famous competitors near our store so we have a good market share.

In the company I’m an assistant manager, but I found one principal problem : actually the turn over is very important, we have all the week 3or4 new employees and we must to train them. so it’s complicated because we must to be fast and performant.

In that case, I’m carry on to take care of the delivery team, because i train the deliverers during the rush,

i take the orders and i prepare the pizzas, and after I collect the money from the cashiers and i deposit to the bank. 

Then, i visit companies and schools .. to inform then about new products and commercial activities.

I check reception of the goods and put them in the freeze box

I’m responsible of the clean 

In my company, i like to do some tasks of management like count and deposit the money and  motivate the team.

I like to train the delivery men, too because in my opinion, it’s like a trusted brand to me and i like that.

take the order too, in fact, i like to have contact with the customers, and to give an advice to them.

to do sales prospection, for the same thing 

I don’t like to make pizzas, I find it boring, and we must to be very quick, so the rhythm is very hard.

I don’t like to do the closed of the area, because we finished later, after midnight generally so, the rhythm is very hard once again 

Then I don’t like the turn-over who is important my fact, in fact the people still 2 or 3 months so we must to train the new arrivals  again and again ..
