-L'occitane Is a French company that Provence is very successful because it uses natural materials for its products such as lavender, olive oil and almonds to make essential oils and cosmetics.

In thousand nine hundred and eighty the company bought the Natural company had three stores and losing money. Reinold Geiger is a minority shareholder, had experience in the cosmetics industry. He became the manager and increased the growth of the company L'occitane.

The Occitan developing growth markets of Asia. But the first L'Occitane stores in Asia have been slow to operate. Because Asian consumers pay attention to the new store.

American consumers are curious and interested in new products.

The Occitan sells half of its products to Asia. Japan is the largest market, while the American market is not very large as twelve percent and about twenty four percent in the European markets.

Today, all products are made in Provence. To meet consumer demand a new production line which will increase its capacity by sixty percent next year is going to be invested.
