  1. What opportunities did Netflix find in the marketing environment and what business model did the company design to exploit them?

Netflix has adopted a flat monthly subscription that covers all movies  and  episodes  as  its primary source of revenue, avoiding reliance on advertising broadcast.

The  integration  of  its  recommendation  system  modifies  the  content  and  presentation  of each consumer based on their preferences, and it  has  the  ability to  collect a  large amount of data, allowing it to provide material tailored to the user.

Netflix will attract a big number of consumers if  it  can  create films or  series that  appeal to the largest number of people.

  1. How did Netflix change the rules of marketing in a mature market?

Netflix has the ability to  "overlap" on  content personalisation. The  firm  has  the  potential to be present in several  areas  at  the  same  time,  such  as  the  variety  of  their  program,  the manner in which their material is viewed, and the media through which it is viewed.

Netflix, unlike traditional media such as television,  allows  users  to  customize  and  change their experience, giving them a  substantial  marketing  edge  by  allowing  them  to  opt  out  of more normal media operations  such  as  commercial  breaks.  This  company  didn't  merely follow in its predecessors' footsteps; it went above and above.

Netflix employs a number of algorithms that include modifying various continuouss to the preferences and needs of viewers, such as tiktok.

The "Top-N Video Ranker" suggests the most popular videos,  while  "Keep  watching" encourages viewers to keep  watching.  Then  Netflix  opted  to  construct  the  "Personalized Video Ranker," which tailors the videos available based on popular genres.

Customers  can  also  subscribe  to  Netflix  as  a  stand-alone  service.  The  customer  has complete control over  what  he  sees,  where  he  sees  it,  when  he  sees  it,  and  how  he  sees  it. So he  may  pause,  resume  his  duties,  and  view  his  favorite  material  anytime  he  wants without being interrupted by advertisements.

Every day,  new  programs  are  uploaded,  and  many  film  and  series  rights  are  purchased  so that customers may watch them on  their  platform.  A  significant  number  of  films  and  series are updated as frequently as possible.

Netflix is able to  retain  its  leadership  despite  the  presence  of  large  competitors  because  to all of these features put in place by the corporation.
