Stevie Wonder is an American singer and songwriter born in 1950. He’s blind since his childhood. He can play many instruments like the piano or the harmonica. He made his first album at 11 in 1962. This album is called Little Stevie Wonder.

In 1972, he made the album Talking Book with a very famous song Superstition. In 1980, the song Happy Birthday is made to request the establishment of a national holiday in memory of Martin Luther King. In 1984, he got the Academy Award for Best Original Song with the song I Just Called to Say I Love You composed for the movie The Woman in red. In 1985, he sang with the group USA for Africa We are the World. In the same year, he made the album In Square Circle with another famous song Part-Time Lover. In 1987, his album Characters was very successful with the song Free.

During the presidential elections, he supported Barack Obama. After his victory, he sang Higher Ground in front of 300 000 people.

Stevie Wonder inspired a lot of people like Michael Jackson, Barack Obama, Alicia Keys, Elton John.

I choose to talk about Stevie Wonder because I love this singer, his songs are really great, and I like his style of music. My favorite song from Stevie Wonder is Part Time Lover.

Stevie Wonder has deeply marked his time because his songs are known by everyone and are not old-fashioned after 40 years; and because he has inspired many famous people.
