In 2009, Fababy met Despo Rutti, through Nova Corp.[2] He made his first official appearance with Despo Rutti on February 14, 2010, in a freestyle Dailymotion video.[3] This was Fababy's first major success as the video was viewed over 15,000 times. Fababy then appeared with Despo Rutti on Planet Rap, a French rap radio station. The appearance was to promote Despo Rutti's new album, but also opened Fababy up to opportunity. Fababy was contacted by the producer of an album called Cosa Nostra, where he appeared in the song, "In Our Eyes". He then performed for the same album in a concert in New Casino de Paris, which allowed for further exposure.[4] With the success of 2010, Fababy released his first music video titled, "Fuck Love" on February 14, 2011, one year after his debut.[5] He also featured on the rap album "Biography of Seven" and later released a clip entitled "L'etat nous baratine" on March 31, 2011 as a collaboration with rap artist Seven.[6] Shortly after, he released another clip entitled "Crie 93" exclusively on rap website Booska-p.[7] Fababy then signed on with recording label Banlieue Sale, run by French rapper La Fouine. Fababy appears three times on La Fouine's albume Capital Crime Vol. 3 with the songs "I Come To Ball", "It's Good" and "Jealousy".[8] His mixtape "Symphonie des Chargeurs Vol.1" or "The Symphony Chargers Volume 1" was released on February 27, which includes tracks such as "La Symphonie des Chargeurs", "Du Mal à Dire", "Avec La Haine" and "Problème", featuring La Fouine.
