Racial segregation is the physical separation of people of different colors in activities they usually exercise whether it is to eat to the restaurant, to drink some water... I go see 4 documents of the notion segregation. Documents are : their first slave, strange fruit, merry go round and the picture of Jim Crow. In the first place we see the common point between documents and secondly we see the situation of different stories and the picture.

The common points between 4 documents are the segregation, the slavery and the racism. In the text "their first slave", we insist on the human qualities of a slave, slavery was still legal, teachers are reasonable with the young slave even if the text shows a critical situation "slaves." The poem "Strange Fruit" was written for a horror expressed lynchings of blacks. The poem "Merry go round" and the picture shows Jim Crow racism, blacks and whites can not mix in public spaces, they are separated, Jim Crow was a black character to caricature African Americans it covering the face and hands black during performances.

The text "Their first slave" tells the story of a slave named Ephraim who goes into a new family, the owners are nice they want to take Ephraim see his mother. The Poem "strange fruit" denounces the horror of segregation blacks are hanged has trees, the strange fruit in question refers to the bodies of black victims, bloodied black fruit leaves and roots. The second poem "merry go round" denounces racism blacks should sit at the back, there are cars that are reserved, Jim Crow laws refers to the infamous laws prohibiting blacks mingle with whites, the child of the poem is in the north and he would get on a ride because there is no Jim Crow laws for the simple reason that neither forward nor backward. The picture of Jim Crow wants to show us the abollition of slavery, when the northern states wanted the southern states to abollir opposed if this is what is called segregation. It is no mouth to speak, his head and his eyes empty for abollir slavery.

To conclude we can say that these 3 documents over the picture show an injustice against blacks, they are killed, exclude, has set aside by the whites when they have done nothing.
